Birds of Nepal Tour

The Birds of Nepal Tour is a dream come true for birdwatchers, providing a fantastic chance to discover Nepal’s diverse birdlife in some of its most beautiful natural settings. This 10-day adventure kicks off in Kathmandu, where you’ll get settled and gear up for an unforgettable experience. On the second day, dive into the cultural and historical sites of the Kathmandu Valley, a wonderful mix of nature and heritage.

The real excitement begins on day three with a trip to Phulchoki Hill Station, the highest hill near Kathmandu and a prime birdwatching location, boasting over 265 species, including the Spiny Babbler and various types of pheasants. After that, journey to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll spend two days exploring its lush forests and wetlands, spotting birds such as the Giant Hornbill, Bengal Florican, and numerous migratory species.

Following that, make your way to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, a sanctuary for waterbirds and one of Asia’s top birdwatching spots. Over the next two days, you’ll encounter rare species like the Black Ibis, Swamp Francolin, and the elusive Bengal Bustard. The tour wraps up with a return to Kathmandu for your final departure, leaving you with cherished memories of Nepal’s breathtaking birdlife and stunning landscapes.
